Technology
Technology and computers are vital elements of the curriculum at Shoreland Lutheran High School. This technology benefits students and their families as well as the school's teachers, administration, and staff. Students have access to:
30 computer stations in the Computer Lab
24 in the Media Center
4 in the SEE Center
4 in the Study Hall room
Laser Printers
A variety of classes are offered to meet student computer needs. Web design, Photoshop, Key-boarding and Computer Literacy are all part of the curriculum.
Nearly every classroom is equiped with Smart Board Technology. This interactive teaching tool combines the simplicity of a whiteboard with the power of a computer to engage students.
All students are provided internet access with the permission of their parent/guardian. The school enforces a strict Internet Policy that describes appropriate use of this tool. Internet access at the school is filtered to minimize access to objectionable sites.
