Accreditation

The Board of Directors of the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod School Accreditation (WELSSA) has issued a status of Exemplary Accreditation to Shoreland Lutheran High School.  Shoreland has proven compliance with WELSSA’s rigorous educational standards and is a member in good standing, recently completing it’s third self study in 2020.

Schools working toward accreditation must complete a comprehensive self-study, host a site visit team of educators outside the school, and develop and implement a school improvement plan to maintain accreditation.  Shoreland files an annual report detailing progress towards meeting goals and staying in compliance with WELSSA standards.  Due to WELSSA’s standing as a member of the National Council on Private School Accreditation (NCPSA), Shoreland is also accredited through the NCPSA organization.
