SLHS Foundation

What kind of legacy do you want to leave?
Almost every Christian wants to pass on a Godly legacy because they love those whom Jesus loved.  A Godly legacy begins when we are intentional about creating homes that honor God, where children are regularly instructed by the Word of God.  That legacy can be extended through financial means.

After the Israelites crossed the River Jordan to enter the Promised Land they set up a memorial, so that future generations would know the goodness of God.  In the same way, the SLHS Foundation exists to help Christians leave a monument of their faith which will be a blessing for many years to come.

Leave a legacy that matters!

Ways to Contribute
  • Cash / check
  • Stocks / Bonds
  • Charitable Gift Annuity
  • Charitable Remainder Trust
  • Memorials
  • Bequests
  • Life Insurance Policy
  • Property / Real Estate

If any of these are unfamiliar ways of donating, please set up a meeting with a member of our Mission Advancement team, and a Ministry of Christian Giving counselor to find the best option for you.  Call 262-859-2595 to discuss and learn more about types of legacy gifts that may fulfill your desire to give.

Attend (and invite others to attend) SLHS Legacy seminars that are held regularly.  And please continue to pray for the ministry at Shoreland!
Supporting Our Students!
The SLHS Foundation is set up so that ministry can be done!  Over $270,000 has been distributed to Shoreland Lutheran to fund tuition assistance and operational costs.
History of Growth
Through generous individual contributions and faithful supervision by the Foundation Board of Directors, the Lord has blessed the growth of the Foundation assets.  Since its inception in 1987, the Foundation has grown to nearly $1 million.  Those contributing to the Foundation can be assured that their donation will be well-managed and assist in the continued growth and support of the SLHS mission.
Our Responsibility
"These commandments that I give you today are to be on your hearts.  Impress them on you children.  Talk about them why you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.  Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads.  Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates"  (Deuteronomy 6:6-9).
