College Opportunities

College Agreements
As a Project Lead the Way school, Shoreland is able to guarantee students college credit to the Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) if the student meets academic criteria according to course outcome expectations.  Shoreland is not able to deem which degree pathway at MSOE credited courses are transcribed to.  You may contact the MSOE admissions office with specific questions about degree pathways or Mr. Sam Hunter at hunters@slhs.us with general questions about this agreement.

Wisconsin Lutheran College has partnered with Shoreland Lutheran High School in guaranteeing college credit for Shoreland's PLTW STEM Academy courses.  Students will need to take the traditional route of obtaining credit through MSOE before requesting the transfer of credit to Wisconsin Lutheran College.  This means the same requirements to obtain credit are in place for both institutions.  We value the opportunity to promote a quality Christ-centered higher education institution like Wisconsin Lutheran College with an award winning Science department.

Carthage College and Shoreland Lutheran High School have a standing agreement for students with interest and ability in the area of Aerospace Engineering.  Carthage College is a member of the NASA Space Grant Consortium for Wisconsin, facilitating project-based research for NASA.  If interested and able, Shoreland students have the opportunity to stand alongside such research on Carthage's campus after an interview with the director of the program.  For more information, please contact Mr. Tim Mielke at mielket@slhs.us

STEM Assistance

What if there was a place where students could find everything they need to connect to the right opportunities for their future that match their unique skills, talents, and abilities?

What if there was a place where colleges and universities could easily identify students with interests and skills in critical areas of discipline such as STEM for recruitment?

What if there was a place where corporations could develop relationships with existing and future talent with the critical thinking and problem solving skills necessary to create a high-velocity organization in the 21st century global business environment?  This is the crossroads where students, colleges and corporations meet. http://www.stempremier.com/
