I was born in the Milwaukee area, but in my early elementary school years, our family moved to Rockford, IL. I returned to Wisconsin for high school at Luther Preparatory School in Watertown, and then continued my schooling at Martin Luther College in New Ulm, MN, where I earned my Bachelor of Science in Education with a math emphasis.
Only weeks after graduating from Martin Luther College in 2006, I married my wife Angie and moved to Peoria, AZ where I served for the first 8 years of my ministry at Cross of Glory Lutheran Church & School as the principal, lead teacher, athletic director, and other various roles. While serving there, I taught all grade levels from Kindergarten to 8th grade in many different combinations of multi-grade classrooms as the school grew. In 2014, I was called to serve at Shoreland Lutheran High School as Mission Advancement Director and I also spent a limited time teaching as well. In 2017, transitioned into a new role on staff as a STEM & Mathematics instructor, two areas that I have a passion for! I coach girls JV basketball and boys JV baseball.
Our family attends Trinity Lutheran in Caledonia, WI. Angie and I are now blessed to have three young boys (Luke, Matthew, and Jonah) who keep us busy and are a constant reminder of how much God loves us!
