Lisa Wasser » Profile

My name is Alicia (Lisa ) Wasser. I accepted a call to Shoreland Lutheran High School in 2008 where I currently teach English I, English II, Career Readiness (Seniors), British Literature (seniors) and a Personal Writing course (Seniors). I also currently help with Cross Country and coach girls Freshman basketball.

I was born and raised in Elkhorn, WI where I attended First Lutheran Church of Elkhorn. I later moved to Lake Geneva, WI where I still currently live. I attend First Lutheran Church of Lake Geneva. I am a 1982 Shoreland Lutheran graduate and a 1987 Dr. Martin Luther College graduate. Upon graduation from DMLC I was assigned to teach K-3 at Gethsemane Lutheran School, in Oklahoma City, OK. I taught there one year and was then engaged, moved back to Lake Geneva and was married in 1988. I then stayed home and raised my children. During this time I was also subbing, coaching and leading women’s bible studies at my church and school.

My husband Rob, is a 1983 Luther Prep. graduate, a 1987 Northwestern College, Watertown graduate, and is now a sales rep for Arthur Clesen Inc. Together we have four children- Amy(Wasser) Stack, Jessica, Nathan and Rachel. All of my children are also Shoreland graduates. I have one grandchild, Mya.

When not teaching during the school year, I enjoy camping, kayaking, biking, reading, cooking and now spending time with Mya.
