Each scholarship requires a paper copy submitted to the school office.
Many of these scholarships are housed in the SLHS Foundation, which provides operational funding and tuition assistance to Shoreland Lutheran on an annual basis.

Cameron Nahf Scholarship
$1000 awarded to a graduating Shoreland senior who exemplifies kindness, empathy, love, and respect.

Dana Spurlock Memorial Scholarship
$300 for a returning art student; This scholarship is selected by committee; no application is necessary.
Erbe-Vogel Memorial Scholarship
$150 (toward tuition or fees at Shoreland Lutheran High School) for academic, social, and spiritual leadership for a current returning junior.

Ken Russell Memorial Scholarship
$250 (toward tuition or fees at Shoreland Lutheran High School) is awarded annually to a current returning junior who has completed three semesters at SLHS with a cumulative 2.3 GPA (C+) or better. The student must be a member in good standing of an SLHS federation congregation.

The L.R. "Larry" Marquardt Lutheran Scholarship
$1,000 Scholarship awarded to a Shoreland Lutheran High School senior who is enrolled at Bethany Lutheran College, Martin Luther College, or Wisconsin Lutheran College.

Michael Diamond Scholarship
$4000 awarded to a graduating Shoreland senior who exhibits a love and passion for history and who has been accepted to a two or four year college or university. The award will be released directly to the student's college or university.

Brooks Family Bio-Med Scholarship
This scholarship is for students participating in the STEM Bio-med program to subsidize their registration cost. The scholarship amount will vary for each student.  A total of $2,000 per year will be fully distributed among applying students based on financial need. 
STEM Engineering Scholarship
This scholarship is for students participating in the STEM Engineering program to subsidize their registration cost.  The scholarship amount will vary for each student.  The amount of scholarship money available may vary per year, but will be fully distributed among applying students based on financial need. 
STEM Computer Science Scholarship
This scholarship is for students participating in the STEM Computer Science program to subsidize their registration cost. The scholarship amount will vary for each student. The amount of scholarship money available may vary per year, but will be fully distributed among applying students based on financial need.
Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation Scholarship
The Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation is offering college scholarships to exceptional high school seniors dedicated to leadership, service, and action that positively affects others. For 32 years the mission of the Coca-Cola Scholars Foundation's has been to provide scholarship programs and lifelong enrichment opportunities in support of students' thirst for knowledge and their desire to make a difference in the world. Coca-Cola is changing the paths of more than 6,300 young people with more than $72 million in educational support. Each year 150 Coca-Cola Scholars are selected to receive this $20,000 scholarship.
Eligibility Requirements:
  • Current high school senior attending a school in the U.S. during the 2020-21 school year
  • U.S. Citizen (see application for additional information)
  • Student who will receive a high school diploma during the current academic year
  • Student planning to pursue a degree at an accredited U.S. post-secondary institution

Equitable Excellence Scholarship
Students have the opportunity to receive a $2,500, $10,000 or $25,000 scholarship. Equitable Excellence award winners come from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences, but are united by their drive, determination, and strong character. 
Eligibility Requirements:
  • Demonstrate the ability to set and reach goals
  • High School Graduate from the Class of 2021
  • Plan to attend an accredited two-year or four-year college or university in the U.S.
  • U.S. Citizen or be a legal resident living or claiming residency in one of the 50 U.S. states, District of Columbia or Puerto Rico.

Most Valuable Student Scholarship (by the Elks National Foundation)
The Elks National Foundation will award 500 four-year scholarships to the highest-rated applicants in the 2021 competition. The mission of the ENF is to help Elks build stronger communities. The Most Valuable Student Scholarship is for undergraduate study only and a student may not receive more than one Elks National Foundation Scholarship award or grant in any one academic year. All checks are paid directly to the school.

  • Up to $4,000 per recipient; up to 480 recipients
  • Up to $20,000 per recipient; up to 14 recipients

Delventhal Law Scholarship
This $1000 (one-time) scholarship is available to high school seniors who are planning to enter the field of law. Students must be entering a four-year college/university or a two-year community college in the Fall of 2021. The application deadline is April 15, 2021. Incomplete or late applications will not be accepted. 
AES Engineering Solutions Scholarship

This scholarship is awarded to motivated students to help in the furthering of their education.  It is awarded on the basis of character, as determined by an evaluation of the essays that are submitted.  It is intended for our future leaders across a wide spectrum of fields of study. This award is available to high school seniors and all students attending a post secondary educational facility.

GFWC-Pleasant Prairie Woman's Club Scholarship
The Pleasant Prairie Woman's Club is providing two educational scholarships in the amount of $1000 each to outstanding high school seniors. 
Eligibility Requirements:
  • Reside in Pleasant Prairie, WI
  • Be a current high school senior at the time of application
  • Have a minimum 2.8 GPA on a 4.0 unweighted scale
  • Provide a copy of your high school transcript
  • Submit at least two (2) letters of recommendation with the completed application form
  • Submit a personal statement which has a minimum of 200 typewritten words
  • Submit all application answers either printed or typed (blue or black ink)

General Federation of Women's Clubs Wisconsin
GFWC-WI Health Scholarship. Deadline is April 1
The GFWC Southern Prairies District consists of seven counties in Southern Wisconsin:  Kenosha, Racine, Walworth, Green, Rock, Grant and Lafayette.
The District's main purpose of this scholarship is to award financial grants to high school seniors planning a career in the health field. $1000 Award. 
Application Information
Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce
Four (4) scholarships in amounts of $2500 each will be awarded to graduating high school seniors pursuing a full-time course of study at a four-year college/university or technical college. These scholarships are open to residents of Kenosha County graduating from high school in 2020. Applicants must have a connection to the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce either through a member employer or a parent/guardian's employer. Minimum GPA of 2.5 / 4.0 or have shown considerable improvement in their academic performance. Applicants with a GPA below 2.5 must submit a written statement explaining why they should be considered despite not meeting the minimum GPA requirement. Applicants must participate in extracurricular activities and must have demonstrated community involvement. A checklist of requirements can be found on the application. A complete application package must be submitted by May 8, 2020 at 3 p.m.

Kenosha Firefighters CARE Scholarship
In recognition of student volunteerism in Kenosha County, Kenosha Firefighters CARE has established scholarships for graduating seniors from Kenosha County public and private high schools. Applicants must demonstrate contributions to the Kenosha community through volunteer service and must be graduating seniors from a Kenosha County public or private high school. Applications are available at 4810 60th Street in the Fire Department Administration and are due by the close of business on April 15 and should be mailed or hand-delivered.

A-Action Pest Control Scholarship
The purpose of the A-Action Pest Control Scholarship Fund is to encourage commitment by students to a career in business administration, marketing, or another business-related field. Entrepreneurship and small business ownership are core principals A-Action was founded on and are important to the overall local community. The applicant must be currently enrolled or intending to enroll in an accredited business or business-related program at a college or university in Illinois or Wisconsin. Application procedure: fill out form on website, faculty letter of recommendation, personal letter of intent. The deadline to apply is 11:59 p.m. on June 16, 2020. Kenosha Junior Woman's Club Scholarship

Somers Elementary School Scholarship
This scholarship is open to current high school seniors who previously attended Somers Elementary School for (2) two full years or more. Additional criteria: cumulative high school GPA of 3.0 or higher; involvement in extra curricular activities and/or athletics in high school; plan to attend college full time and complete the first semester in the same year that the scholarship is awarded.

The Scholarship
The Caregiver Scholarship is intended for students who are passionate about helping seniors live healthy lives and are pursuing careers in senior care. The award can be used towards tuition and/or books. Applicants must be actively enrolled in or accepted to attend a U.S. college or university and pursuing a career in senior care. Applicants must submit either a 500-word essay or 2-3 minute video addressing a topic related to elder care. Apply at The 2020 deadline has not been released.
Woman's Club of Kenosha
The Woman's Club of Kenosha is offering a $1,000 academic scholarship to four Kenosha County young women who are seniors in high school, residing in Kenosha County and are planning to enroll full-time in a four-year accredited institution of higher learning. Academic achievement, career orientation, financial need, and character are the primary criteria used in evaluating each applicant. Toptal Scholarship
