Shoreland Lutheran High School announces its Homecoming activities and events for 2022, beginning with all-school activities on Monday, Sept. 26 and ending with a dance on campus the evening of Saturday, Oct. 1.
The 2022 Homecoming Court includes two representatives from each of the freshman, sophomore, and junior classes, and six representatives from the senior class. Members of the court include freshmen reps Anika Poling and Joel Lindemann; sophomore reps Ella Malliet and James Craig; junior reps Jackalyn Miller and Andrew Heusterberg; senior reps Natalie Strassburg and Angel Ayala; Emma Schattschneider and Lincoln Sonntag; and Kaylee Carter and Mason Gill.
Shoreland will celebrate homecoming with student activities throughout the week of Sept 26 through Oct 1, both during and after the school day. This year’s theme is “Conga in the Cosmos.” Members of each class decorate homecoming flats and create videos according to the theme of science fiction and space. Freshmen are Back to the Future and Star Wars, Sophomores are Men in Black, Juniors are Ghostbusters, Seniors are It and Stranger Things, and the Faculty has claimed Star Wars and Men in Black. Students will also participate in class competitions throughout the week.
All of Pacer Nation is invited to Pacerpalooza on Wednesday evening at 7pm in the Shoreland gymnasium. The evening will feature the class and faculty videos, as well as the crowning of the homecoming king and queen.
At 7pm on Friday evening, the varsity football team plays Brown Deer High School at 7 p.m. The Pacer Cheerleaders will perform a halftime routine. A semi-formal dance is planned for Saturday evening on the campus beginning at 7:30 p.m.
