STEM Scholarships

Several scholarships exist to subsidize the course fees in our STEM Academy pathways.

Brooks Family Biomedical Science Scholarship
- This scholarship is for students participating in the Biomedical Science pathway. The scholarship amount will vary for each student. A total of $2,000 per year will be fully distributed among applying students based on financial need.
STEM Computer Science Scholarship
- This scholarship is for students participating in the Computer Science pathway. The scholarship amount will vary for each student and may vary per year, but will be fully distributed among applying students based on financial need.
STEM Engineering Scholarship
- This scholarship is for students participating in the Engineering pathway. The scholarship amount will vary for each student and may vary per year, but will be fully distributed among applying students based on financial need.

Scholarship Eligibility

In order to apply for one of these scholarships, students must meet two requirements:
- Apply for general tuition assistance (this provides us with financial need) SLHS Tuition Assistance Application
- Complete the STEM Academy Scholarship Application Form.

SLHS Students or new applicants may apply for a scholarship during the same time period that they can apply to be a part of the program, which is November 1-April 1.
By approximately June 15 students will be notified if they have been accepted into the program and whether they received a scholarship of any amount.
