Why Shoreland

Choosing the right high school is one of the most important decisions you and your family will make – especially during these unpredictable times. If you are looking for a Christian high school that has the resources and flexibility to quickly pivot between on-campus and online learning, we invite you to consider Shoreland Lutheran.
Our faculty, staff and students came back to campus in August for a phenomenal 2020-21 school year, and we have a plan that helps meet the needs of all students on campus or through a Hy-Flex option – while working hard to ensure each student has a great experience.
A small school doing big things
At our caring, Christ-centered school, you will be motivated to take ownership of your academic and spiritual growth, while developing the courage and self-confidence to handle life’s challenges and opportunities.
You will find that your teachers have a knack for making subjects come alive and that they encourage interaction and communication that builds positive relationships based on trust and respect.
At Shoreland, you won’t get lost in the crowd or stuck on the sidelines. Instead, you will have the opportunity to explore and enjoy a wide variety of academic and extracurricular activities, while achieving your true potential as a student, friend, leader, and valuable member of the community.
