Favorite Bible Verse: Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to him, and he will make your paths straight. Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV)

After staying home and raising a family, Ms. Bahr graduated from UW – Parkside in 2003 and began teaching part-time at Shoreland Lutheran in 2004 before she accepted a full-time call in 2007.  Ms. Bahr teaches speech and physical education along with coaching freshman volleyball and varsity girls’ basketball.  She is currently earning her Synod Certification from Martin Luther College. After finishing her synod certification, Ms. Bahr is looking forward to working for her Masters Degree in coaching.

Ms. Bahr has three daughters; Alyssa Bahr, Brittanny Bahr and Taylor Bahr.  Alyssa works in banking and lives on her own. Brittanny graduated from Wisconsin Lutheran College and is working in the communication field. Taylor is one semester shy of graduating with her graphic design degree from Wisconsin Lutheran College.  Both Brittanny and Taylor live with Ms. Bahr in Racine.  She and her daughters are members of Trinity Lutheran church in Caledonia.

Camping, golfing, reading, and enjoying family time by the beach are all favorite hobbies. Did you know Ms. Bahr was a member of the first state champion basketball team at Shoreland having Mr. Heckmann as her high school coach? She was Bruce Heckmann’s assistant for nine years before becoming the girls’ basketball head coach. Coach Bahr enjoyed her 100th win in the 2015-16 season.
