What We Believe

Shoreland is a Christian school rooted in the Lutheran tradition. We hold the three ecumenical creeds (i.e., the Nicene Creed, the Apostles’ Creed and the Athanasian Creed) and the Lutheran confessions to be faithful expressions of God’s truth revealed to us in the Bible. Shoreland is affiliated with the Wisconsin Evangelical Lutheran Synod.

Our Philosophy of Education

We believe every student should experience the love of God. Sharing God’s love and preparing students to be life-long, mature disciples of Christ is the reason we exist. While attending Shoreland, you will find that our educational philosophy is based on the Bible and the belief that the Bible is the true Word of God. Our faculty will provide you with the support and resources you need to ask questions, dive deep into the Word, and live for your Lord and Savior. You will receive guidance through classroom instruction, independent and self-directed study, and cocurricular activities that are designed to help you glorify God by fulfilling your purpose in His plan.

“Do not let anyone
look down on you
because you are young,
but be an example for
the believers in your
speech, your conduct,
your love and purity.

1 Timothy 4:12
