Each scholarship requires a paper copy submitted to the school office.

Many of these scholarships are housed in the SLHS Foundation, which provides operational funding and tuition assistance to Shoreland Lutheran on an annual basis.

IN-HOUSE SCHOLARSHIPS INFORMATION AND/OR APPLICATION Jeff Dorn Memorial Scholarship

$250 toward tuition or fees at Shoreland Lutheran High School. The scholarship is awarded annually to a current returning junior who has completed three semesters at SLHS with a cumulative 2.3 GPA (C+) or better. This scholarship is for students participating in the STEM Biomedical Science program to subsidize their registration cost. The scholarship amount will vary for each student. For graduating seniors who display a positive character, leadership skills, academic excellence, community involvement, and future aspirations that include furthering their education. Applicants must also have a connection to the Kenosha Area Chamber of Commerce either through an employer or a parent/guardian's employer.
This year's award will be a minimum of four $2500 scholarships. Applicants must be available for an interview on Monday, May 9, 2022.

Pearl Perry Ruffolo Memorial Eduational Scholarship"
Reside in Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin. Be a current high school senior graduating in the Spring of 2022. Have a minimum GPA of 2.8 on a 4.0 unweighted scale. Provide a copy of your high school transcript. Submit at least two (2) letters of recommendation and a completed application form. Submit a personal statement with a minimum of 200 typewritten words. Submit all application answers either printed or typed in blue or black ink.

The Kiwanis Club of Western Kenosha Foundation is offering academic scholarships to senior high school students who, upon graduation, will be attending an accredited two- or four-year college, university or technical school leading to a degree. Four scholarships will be offered in 2022: $2,000, $1,750, $1,500 and $750. The application deadline is April 29, 2022.

Applicants must be residents of the State of Wisconsin and must be participating in their high school's boys or girls basketball program during their senior year as either a player or manager. Completed FAFSA to determine financial need. Applicants must be seniors graduating from a Wisconsin high school - public or private. Applicants must be planning to attend a University of Wisconsin System school as a full-time student (at least 12 credits), enrolled in a 2-year or 4-year program. To renew this scholarship, students must maintain performance consistant with the origanal award criteria, including a cumulative GPA greater than 2.0.

The Rotary Club scholarships are granted based on the completion of an essay focusing on a current economic topic. The top two essay writers will be awarded the scholarships.
